Exchange and Returns Policy

We want you to love your purchase. We will endeavour to assist you in making the right choice.

We take no responsibility for variations in colour. There may be some variations in colour or detail from what you have seen on screen compared to the actual item, whist every effort is made to depict items as accurately as possible, we cannot be responsible for minor variations. Whilst we may describe the colour and/detail, we are not bound by variations compared to the actual item. 

Change of Mind

If for any reason within fourteen(14) days of purchase, you change your mind on your jewellery ( except special or custom orders, earrings, engraved products, modified products or resized after purchase ), we will gladly offer you the opportunity to exchange your purchase or provide you with a store credit to be used any time within a two(2) year period from the date of the credit issued, provided that the item/s are in “As New Condition” and are accompanied by proof of purchase i.e. paperwork – receipts, valuation and diamond.

“As New Condition” means that the item must not have been worn and the item must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. Determination of an item matching the definition of “As New Condition” is at the sole discretion of the management of Renato Jewellers.

Exchange

You may return new items sold and fulfilled online by Renato Jewellers or instore within fourteen(14) days of delivery for an exchange or a store credit excluding; special or custom orders, earrings, engraved products, modified products or resized after purchase. Items purchased from Renato Jewellers online can be returned at a Renato Jewellers store. Please ensure that you take a printed copy of your online tax invoice/ order fulfilment email to the store to confirm your purchase details.

All shipping return charges must be pre-paid. We cannot accept C.O.D deliveries. We require that returned items are insured to safeguard against loss to protect you, the customer.

Items should be returned with all paperwork such as; ( receipts, diamond certificates, and valuations ), include a copy of your shipping confirmation email or order confirmation email in the package.

All returns are subject to inspection by our Quality Assurance team before the Exchange and/or Refund Policy is invoked.  

If the item(s) are defective or damaged because of our manufacture’s fault, any piece of jewellery that has not to be worn, scratched, damaged, made to order or altered in any way ( including resize ), and has made contact with us within fourteen(14) days after delivery is entitled to a return for an exchange.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your proof of purchase, and a shipment confirmation within fourteen(14) days after delivery. If fourteen(14) days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you an exchange or credit.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. According to the Victoria Consumer Affair, no refund is applicable upon change of mind. A refund is only available under circumstances such as the manufactures fault.

Please note that we can only exchange for items of equal or greater value.

If a refund is deemed by management because of manufacturer fault, we refund you the same way that you initially paid for your order excluding any delivery charges within fourteen(14) days of receiving your returned item. However, refunds of cash payments will be made by direct credit via a bank transfer in the name of the Customer. Refunds will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original purchase, so please be aware of this if you intend to return an item given to you as a gift.

Returns Process

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please ship items back within fourteen(14) days of delivery.

The following criteria must be met;
  • Item(s) must be in original condition
  • Item(s) have not been adjusted or altered
  • Item(s) have not been engraved or customised
  • Boxing and paperwork ( i.e. original International diamond certification )
  • Item(s) were not custom made or specially ordered

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping and insurance costs for returning your item(s). Postage costs are not refundable.
